Description
WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?
Define and standardize data flow processes and information flow within the organization.
Develop and implement data governance policies to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
Collaborate with ML, FinOps, and other teams to integrate data governance best practices.
Design and oversee data governance frameworks for cloud-based environments, primarily on AWS and GCP, with some involvement in Azure.
Create and maintain documentation for data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
Ensure alignment of data governance practices with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on data governance-related matters.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to data governance policies.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related field.
Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices.
Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS and GCP, and familiarity with Azure.
Proficiency in data management tools and technologies.
Ability to develop and implement data governance policies and procedures.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience working with cross-functional teams.
Nice to have:
Familiarity with machine learning and FinOps concepts.
Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements.
Experience with data governance tools and platforms.
Background in the technology or defense sectors.
Advanced degree in Data Science, Information Management, or a related discipline.
