We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Backend Team Lead to guide, monitor, and lead our backend development team. You will be a hands-on technical leader, adept at driving the team towards a common goal while maintaining a positive and collaborative environment. You will balance business needs and workloads, manage timelines, define milestones, and deliver results. A startup mentality and experience are highly valued.

What You’ll Do:
  • Building highly performant and maintainable web applications.
  • Leading development efforts and feature implementation strategies.
  • Managing the development team, sprints, and source code quality.
  • Actively participating in the development process of the web platform.
  • Actively participating in process automation, architecture, and infrastructure handovers.
Requirements
  • Solid knowledge of full-stack development: DB modeling, backend architecture, API planning, client-side data flow, and UX implementation.
  • Strong experience designing web solutions for challenging problems.
  • Extensive experience implementing end-to-end web applications (full stack).
  • Ability to manage multiple requesters and priorities, presenting opportunities, limitations, and trade-offs, and bringing innovative ideas to meet needs.
  • Thorough knowledge of JavaScript.
  • Thorough knowledge of React.js.
  • Thorough knowledge of Node.js and experience working with MongoDB.
  • Experience with common web development tools such as Babel, Webpack, and NPM.
  • Experience with WebRTC (client and server) is a strong advantage.
  • A natural leader who inspires by doing, enjoys being technically hands-on, mentoring, and building efficient teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, including fluency in English.
