Description
o Lead the civil design process for railway infrastructure, including advanced works, such as utility diversions and TBM launch shafts, as well as permanent works, such as underground and at-grade stations and bridges.
o Manage the identification, assessment, and coordination of existing utilities affected by the railway project.
o Manage the engagement with utility providers to develop and implement diversion and protection strategies.
o Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, regulatory authorities, contractors, and consultants.
o Work closely to coordinate the design with local authorities and utility companies to obtain necessary permits and approvals for the works.
o Ensure designs meet national and international railway standards, safety codes, and environmental regulations.
o Provide technical guidance and risk assessments for complex engineering challenges, and develop mitigation strategies.
o Manage design changes, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or safety.
o Participate in design review meetings, workshops, and technical presentations.
o Manage and monitor design progress to align with project timelines and budgets.
o Support procurement by providing technical specifications and design inputs.

Requirements
o Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
o 10+ years of experience in civil design management, preferably in railway or infrastructure projects.
o Proven experience in underground structures with deep basements with groundwater treatment.
o Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
